Objective
WEG addresses global energy issues and problems through discussion and analysis involving senior figures from the public and private sectors. WEG meets annually at Windsor Castle for a residential consultation – hence its name. Its honorary chairman is Lord Howell.
Programme
WEG provides a neutral framework for an exchange of views on energy geopolitics. This is achieved through a bi-monthly programme of activities that includes:

Diplomatic briefings in London offer an opportunity for the energy industry to meet with ambassadors and diplomats from energy producing countries. |

Openness
The Group’s success is based on having a group of energy-related companies and organisations complemented by expert input with contributions from international energy organisations including OPEC and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Subscription and Sponsorship
Annual subscription to WEG’s programme of activities is £5,000. There are also opportunities to sponsor meetings, studies and other WEG-related activity. WEG Newsletters are free.
