NET brings together technological game-changers in global energy markets. By reviewing newly-patented energy technologies, NET offers meetings and studies to consider how these will be rolled out and their impact on global energy markets. NET involves research scientists, energy financiers, international oil companies and their national equivalents as well as relevant policymakers from governments.
Programme
NET provides a neutral platform and network for an informed exchange of views on how innovative energy technologies will impact the global energy market. This is achieved through a bi-monthly programme of activities that includes:
| Dinners hosted by supporting organisations | |
| Expert studies assessing energy technology developments | |
| Producing policy discussion papers on energy technologies | |
| Monthly updates on energy technology developments. |
NET is chaired by Lord Oxburgh who chairs the Carbon Capture and Storage Association and is a former chairman of Shell and Rector of Imperial College.
